St. James the Apostle School offers a variety of different enrichment programs throughout the year. Some of these programs are offered during school hours, while most are after school with a fee associated based on the program. Some examples of different programs offered.
Band
Band For Today has been providing schools with band and piano programs for 32 years with classes held right at St James. Please visit Band For Today’s website for more information.
Chess Club
Chess Scholars is offered to students in grades Kindergarten through eight. No previous knowledge of chess is necessary. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will get to the next level under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.
Homework Club
Homework Club is a service offered to students in grades four through eight to provide students with one-on-one assistance with homework assignments.
Theatre Club
Theatre is available to students starting in 3rd grade. Rehearsals are after school with a production in the Fall.
Art Club
Young Rembrandts offers our young artists the opportunity to enhance their artistic abilities.
