Kindergartners and Seventh Graders Celebrate the End of the Year at Willowbrook

Last week, the kindergarten and seventh grade classes at St. James celebrated the end of the year by making a trek across the street to Willowbrook Wildlife Haven. Not only did the students visit, they collected and donated a variety of things like paper towels, sand, food and more. It’s a fun event for the students which allows them to spend time with their buddies. Next year, both classes will participate in the Buddy Program at St. James. The two classes will create a tight bond with each other doing projects, going on field trips, celebrating mass and more. This program creates great respect between the younger and older students at St. James and is a treasure for everyone involved.
