Once your child is enrolled at St. James the Apostle School, you become an automatic member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Our PTO has three main responsibilities: Support the teachers and staff, provide services for students and provide parents with conveniences and volunteer opportunities.
In addition, PTO offers many levels of services for our students and parents, including sourcing educational magazines for all classrooms, chartering busing for field trips and offering treat & events for Catholic Schools Week. Other PTO supported events are:
Angel Money Program
We help fund extra educational materials for the classroom, continuing education classes for the teachers so they can provide the latest information and newest knowledge to our children.
This is a special morning where children can invite the Very Important Person(s) in their lives to come and spend a day at the school and experience all that St James has to offer.
Ripples of Faith
This yearlong community service program & annual Day of Service, allows our students an entire day of service both on and off campus at local charitable organizations.
New Family/Host Family Program
This committee provides support for new families during their first year at St. James
Current PTO Fundraisers
This year list includes Spirit Wear sales, magazine sales, Pre-Christmas cookie dough sale, Easter bread sales and a spring plant sale.
