Sticky Fingers Cooking
Our students will have a blast every week discovering how easy and fun it is to cook (and gobble-up!) tasty, healthy, American classics as well as globally-inspired Sticky Fingers Cooking recipes! Sticky Fingers Cooking offers young chefs the chance to explore exciting tastes, all seasonal and as local as possible, master culinary skills that they can put to use in family kitchens, all while nourishing their bodies and minds. This class is offered in the Fall and Spring.
The Crusader Players is St. James the Apostle’s new year-long afterschool theatre club for students in grades 2 through 8. At the end of the year, there will be a performance showcase of skits and small one-acts which will highlight what they have learned. Through the use of games, exercises and other tools the students will learn the basics of theatre such as movement, enunciation, projection, character development, etc. Other added benefits include heightened memorization and concentration skills and improvement in self-confidence. These are skills that will be helpful throughout their lives. Students will also touch on offstage areas such as stage managing, directing, costuming, set designing and more.
